How To Post An eBay Auction

By Sagar Jawale

It's surprisingly easy to post your very first auction on e bay. Here is how to do it. Open an e bay seller's account. When you have bought things on e bay, then you have already got an account - simply log in with it and click on 'sell' in the toolbar at the top of the web page, then click 'Create a seller's account'. If you happen to have never used e bay before, you then must open an account first using the 'register' link beneath the toolbar, after which click 'Sell' and 'Create a seller's account'. The e bay web site will then guide you through the process. For safety, this will contain giving credit card particulars and bank information.

Determine what to sell.To your first little experiment with e bay, it doesn't really matter what you sell. Have a look across the room you might be in . I'm positive there's one thing in there that you are not all that connected to and will put in the post. Small books and CDs are ideal first items.

Submit your item.Click 'Sell', and you are on your way to listing your item. The first thing you need to do is choose a category - it's best to just type in what the item is and let e bay choose for you. Next, write a title and description. Include key words you think people will search for in the title box, and all the information you have about the item in the description box.

Wait for it to sell. This is just a matter of sitting back and letting e bay do its thing - buyers will find your item and leave bids on it. Some bidders might email you with questions about the item, and you should do your best to answer these questions as quickly as you can.

Collet fee and post it.E bay will sent your buyer's e mails guiding them through the method of sending you money for the item. Be sure to have the cash before you send anything. After you have acquired the money, all you could do is pack the item for posting ,take the client's address from the e mail e bay sent you, and write it on the parcel. Put some stamps on, post it, and you are done!I hope you enjoyed promoting your first item.
